Caleb Reeves

Caleb’s Closet was named in honor of the late Caleb Reeves, who grew up in rural Huntsville, where he enjoyed the small-town pace and abundant agriculture. What most people would consider work, Caleb considered it a joy and privilege to spend his summer breaks in the hay field or working cattle with his grandpa, uncles, and cousins.

After graduating high school in 2010, he attended auctioneer school, where he became a Professional Auctioneer and later sold dozens of estate sales and benefit auctions for his neighbors in need.

Alongside operating a cattle farm, he was a Forest Ranger with the AR Forestry Commission and lovingly referred to by his wife as “Smokey.” Caleb lost his dad when he was very young, but a spark of joy entered his life when his niece was born, followed by two nephews who he loved to spend time with. Caleb was married in 2017, and got to spend the next few years prior to his passing growing his dream farm and traveling to some dream places.

Caleb left his earthly home for his eternal one in 2021 following complications from the COVID-19 virus. He battled the virus for 40 days, spending much of that time on a ventilator. His body was eventually unable to recover, resulting in his passing on August 9th, 2021, at the young age of 29.

Caleb lived life at a pace that allowed him to be a simple phone call away from friends, family, and several strangers who were in need. He loved serving others, whether that meant jumping in when someone needed help in the hay field because their equipment broke down or because someone in the community was ill and he was helping sell a benefit auction for them. He had a joyful, yet goofy spirit and a laugh that couldn’t easily be forgotten. He was someone who had fun doing anything from hunting with his brother and cousins to working cattle, talking to his mom on the phone, or watching the Razorback Men’s basketball team. As long as everyone around him was happy, he was more than happy.

Caleb’s true heaven on earth was his cattle farm, and you will see a nod to that in the “Bar C” brand centered in the logo. His brother, sister in law, and cousins started Caleb’s Closet in his honor to remind others of Jesus’ love for them. May Caleb’s joyful spirit from the Lord be reflected as others are served through it!

Gabe Wight, his father. I don't know how to express just how proud I was of Eli and how tragic his death was to me, our family, and many others.  Eli was so very special; so very kind, loved Jesus, loved people, intelligent, athletic, a leader - the total package.  I will never understand why it was appointed for him to leave us at just 11 years old.  When he passed, he was at the top and still rising in every way.  He wanted to use his life for the Lord, he had strong relationships with family and friends, he was at the top of his class academically, and he was emotionally healthy.

Perspective is difficult to grasp during hard times.  A narrow perspective focuses on what has been lost.  Widen that perspective just a bit and what has been gained comes into focus.  An eternity together, an eternity with our Savior, an eternity secure, eternal decisions from family and friends.  These are but a few of the blessings Eli's life ushered in, and ultimately, his passing.

We are blessed.  We will never have to wonder where Eli is; we know he is with our Lord, Jesus Christ.  We will all die, it's just a matter of "when".  For 11 years, Eli lived his earthly life well. His "when" came too soon for those of us who knew him.  In light of eternity, the timing of his passing will be but a minor inconvenience as we get to spend forever together.  I miss you, Eli.  I'm so proud of you.  And I can't wait to see you again!

This was written in loving memory by Gabe Wight.

Shelby Rae Dotson

Shelby Rae was an extraordinary young woman who loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was her little brother Hayden’s biggest supporter—his number one fan—and the very definition of a devoted daughter to her parents, Travis and Jamie.

Shelby had a light about her that could fill any room. Her smile was truly unforgettable—one of those rare smiles that stayed with you long after you saw it. She found joy in the little things, whether it was shopping, taking on a new DIY project, organizing her closet, or rearranging her room just to make it feel fresh again.

She was the kind of person who never sat still for long—always busy, always helping, always showing up when someone needed her. To know Shelby was to love her. She had a natural way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Shelby loved being involved at school and gave her time generously to extracurriculars. From seventh grade through her sophomore year, she proudly served as a football manager, dedicating herself fully to her team. She cherished every moment spent with her friends and family, creating memories that will live on in all who knew her.

She was intelligent, quick-witted, and had a way of lifting spirits even on the hardest days. One of the things we as her family hold closest to our hearts is something Shelby wrote when she was just 13 years old. She spoke about “finding the sunshine in every storm of life” and "be inspired by what others do"

Those words have become a guiding light—her family and all who loved her continue to hold onto them, striving to live with the same warmth, strength, and inspiration that Shelby gave so freely to the world.

We are honored to be a part of and have Shelby honored by Caleb's Closet. Caleb truly was a one of a kind guy that you couldn't help but love. He and his family have always been such special people who we love dearly.
